I like to think of it as the simple and stylish blogging guide: interviews with successful women’s lifestyle bloggers, tips from my time as a website producer, and fun blogging stories from around the web.

Who am I?

A technology-loving, list-writing girl. I like shopping online, travelling, sunshine, laughter, learning, nutrition and dogs. I’m hyper organised, yet somehow manage to run perpetually (fashionably?) late for most things (though I prefer to think the rest of the world is just running five minutes fast ). I hate reading instruction manuals, love problem-solving and challenges, and am constantly working towards living the most balanced life I can. It’s a fun experiment.

What do I know about technology?

I grew up with Inspector Gadget as a father. He introduced me to computers in the early ’80s at the wee age of three. I studied computers at school. I took website design subjects while at university. I have all the gadgets. Techie stuff is in my blood.

What else can I share?

I have a degree in communications, which led me to my first full-time job: subeditor at Australian Cosmopolitan magazine. 18 months into that gig, a position combining two of my loves (make-up and websites) came up: beauty and website editor. I did this for the next three-and-a-half years while I tested my way through thousands of beauty products and produced the Cosmo website. I then took on the position of launch producer for Your Beauty Spot at ninemsn. It was a big success, and I worked on it for a number of years before leaving to travel and concentrate on freelancing.

Travelling is AWESOME

If you’ve never done it, I totally recommend it. Making my way through 12 countries (I’ve been to 17 in total) gave me lots of time to think about what I want out of life. I’m so excited to think there is still so much of the world left to see.

Why do I blog about blogging?

Blogging is fun. I love that it gives everyone the opportunity to have a voice. This blog allows me to share what I know about producing websites and creating content, while (hopefully) helping other bloggers. It started in March 2010, and in that short time it’s brought me opportunities I could never have imagined. Because of it I’ve met some great people, made some wonderful friends, travelled internationally, and been invited to be part of some amazing projects.
