So, you’ve done it! Completed all 34 lessons… and lived to tell the tale! I’m so thankful and appreciative of your time in signing up, reading through, and asking questions. Before you go, I’d love for you to share any feedback you may have. Was everything helpful? Do some lessons need more info? Is there anything you think I should change?

I’d love for you to share the link to your new WordPress site with me so we can all check it out! And if you would like to share a testimonial that I may use, that would be awesome (and I will gladly link back to your site if I use it).

Here’s one I received recently:

I ran across Bree’s beginner WordPress E-course right after making the decision to move from blogger to wordpress.org and I’m so thankful I did!  The lessons were all pretty short so I felt like I accomplished something even if I could only do one or two, and her lessons explained everything really well!  Any time I had a question, she got right back to me and I loved that about Bree. I highly recommend this course – if someone as technologically challenged as me can set up a blog from start to finish, anyone can do it!” – Ruthie, Rear. Release. Group.

  1. We took the plunge and started our blog, teammadefamily.com, two months ago. It has been a real learning process. I am so very appreciative of the course you put together on WordPress. We were able to consult it whenever we wanted, especially in the first couple of weeks, to navigate things easily. In particular, I am glad for the portions on .com vs. .org. We may have gone the wrong direction without your guidance and advice. Thanks so much!

  2. Hi Bree

Singing up for the wordpress e-course demystified all the doubts I had about running a blog.
The course explained deeply and clearly how everything works around WP and
inspired me to finally start my blog. Also it gathered all the information I needed in just one place.
    Amazing! <3

Soon enough I will have my blog published and defo will share it with you.
    Amazing initiative.

    Thank you.

    Marina

  3. Thank you so much! I was plugging away trying to figure out how to start my wordpress blog myself when I found your e-course. It saved me so much time and frustration from looking up each topic individually. The short classes were just what I needed to be able to slowly work through the setup. My new blog (very much a draft for another week or two) is http://www.makingyourmoneymatter.com

  4. Hi Bree!

I signed up for this course a while ago and have been going through the lessons thoroughly. All I can say is — THANK YOU! As a first-time blogger, this really helped me understand the mechanics of WordPress and how to start building a blog. There’s a lot of information out there, and it can be quite overwhelming, but your lessons here explain things clearly and thoroughly. Thank you very much for offering these free lessons and for your incredible explanations! Looking forward to launching my blog this year!

    • @Stephanie No, THANK YOU Stephanie! I am so pleased you’ve found the e-course helpful. Thank you for your thoughtful questions and for sharing this feedback with me! Good luck with everything!

  5. Dear Bree,

When I told my husband I wanted to start a blog, he laughed. I have trouble getting the printer to turn on sometimes! But, I am proof that if I can do it, anyone can, they just have to be stubborn enough. There were times when I thought something would take me 20 mins and five hours later, I still wasn’t finished. I would have several phone calls going, five Youtube videos up and tears forming in my eyes. But, eventually I made it through. That moment when I hit publish was such a personal victory for me.

There was lots of advise and help out there, but your course was, hands down, the best resource I had. In fact, I am convinced that I truly could not have done it without you. I have already recommended your course to many people.

Thank you so much, you were so thorough, so available and so patient. Your response time was outstanding when I would ask a question and your never made me feel stupid. You are a treasure.

I’m still scared to death to do anything in html, but I will get there. One step at a time.

I want to take a higher level course, but I was hoping you would be the teacher. Do you offer anything like that?

Thanks again, Bree, you helped birth a dream for me!

    • @sphillipps Sarah, your comment has made my day! Thank you so very much. I’m so pleased you found the e-course helpful, and your new site looks fabulous! (And don’t be scared about HTML! I’ve got an HTML cheat sheet you can copy and paste from – you’ll be writing your own HTML in no time!)

  6. I am glad I came across this wonderful course on WordPress. The language and content of the course is in-depth and although I have studied basics of website development, I wasn’t very confident on designing a wordpress website earlier. But this course has given me the much needed confidence and I am ready to take up website designing and development projects. All thanks to Bree and this wonderful course.

  7. Thank you, Thank you! Thank you for putting this together! It has been such a stress relief for me. I started building my site about a week before I came across your e-course and was so overwhelmed by everything I needed to figure out. It has been so nice to have you hold my hand and walk me through it all and now I’m so excited to get to the fun part- writing! I hope you’ll check out my work at centsofsanity.com !
    Thanks again, Katie

  8. Thanks Bree for this wonderful course! You got me started off on the right path. I can’t wait to get started and see what happens. You gave great tips and tricks and recommended some great plugins as well. I cannot thank you enough! I hope I make you proud at suddenlysavage.com!

  9. This course was immensely helpful as a beginner with WordPress. When you commit to getting a WordPress site you really need to get to know an entirely new computer application, which isn’t easy. This course walked me through everything from the basics to more advanced features. Thank you for offering this course completely free!

adventuresofang.com is looking fresh and I owe a lot of that to you.

  10. Thank you so much Bree! You did a fabulous job in clearly communicating each process. This course is so well thought out and really provides the information that newbies (like me) need. I have already been able to make great headway on my site, and I’m positive that I’ll be coming back to this resource to revisit topics in the future.

I’m looking forward to exploring your other content and checking in on theblogstylist.com regularly!

  11. Bree, Thank you so so much! This course was so helpful! I have tried many other ways to learn my way around WP with no luck. This course was helpful, well organized, and easy to understand. Thank you for referencing related lessons in each lesson (I referred back often). I feel like I can finally navigate my site, and it looks good too, and I am so excited about it! I still have a lot of perfecting to do, but with the tools you have given me I know can figure it out. Thank you so much.

  12. I recently moved to Bolivia to teach at an international school and wanted a way to update my family and friends back home, but I wanted to get more out of my blog. This course was so helpful in so many ways! I am trying out WordPress.com for now, but have hopes to transfer to a .org site and use more of the information I learned in this course to improve my blog. Thank you so much, Bree!
